Some people may not be able to distinguish between U-arm x-ray machine and C-arm X-ray machine. Generally speaking.

C-arm is a dynamic imaging X-ray machine, usually used for imaging with image intensifiers or dynamic flat panel detectors.

U-arm X-ray machine is a digital filming device for static imaging. Usually used for whole-body radiographic examinations.
