Can I use a mattress on the film bed on the X-ray U arm?

Some customers want to buy a mattress for the X-ray U arm film bed. For the film bed used for X-ray equipment diagnosis, the mattress is most suitable for EPE foam. We found a mattress for the customer to use the X-ray U arm film bed, the outer cover is PU fabric, and the filling is EPE foam.

However, for X-ray U arm and X-ray equipment, we do not recommend the use of mattresses on film beds. This is likely to cause artifacts and the quality of image X-rays.
The bed surface of our film bed is made of poly(methylmethacrylate). The polymer obtained by polymerizing acrylic acid and its esters is called acrylic resin. The corresponding plastics are collectively called polyacrylic plastics, among which polymethacrylate Methyl esters are the most widely used. Polymethyl methacrylate abbreviation code is PMMA, commonly known as plexiglass, has excellent light transmission properties, can pass more than 92% of sunlight, ultraviolet light reaches 73.5%; high mechanical strength, has certain heat and cold resistance , corrosion resistance, good insulation performance and dimensional stability.
